Our client is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team in Baltimore. On this role you will be working closely with internal and external clients through the entire lifecycle from initial order through installation. You will be responsible for helping to ensure that equipment is shipped on time, within budget and meets or exceeds customers' requirements. You will work on multiple projects and maintain continuous communications with all stakeholders.
- Effectively manage successful execution of 4 major elements relating to industrial machinery manufacturing and installation at a customer site: Budget, Timeline, Scope / Performance Specifications, & Customer Experience
- In coordination with internal stakeholders and customers, develop project plans and lead team to each critical milestone.
- Track and report on all elements of the projects including cost, resources, materials and equipment and alert team of any potential issues that could put successful completion of the project at risk.
- Manage multiple projects of various sizes and complexity with a focus on both efficiency and effectiveness.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering or Production).
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in managing projects that encompass the design and production of complex electrical-mechanical machinery.
- High mechanical aptitude, sound understanding of engineering principles, machining, assembly, test, and supply chain processes.
- Strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Project Server deployed in a SharePoint environment.
- Familiarity with cost accounting concepts and MRP / ERP principles.
- Microsoft Project Management experience.
- Project Management Institute Certification preferable. (PMP Certification)
