Role
Responsible for the management of new Site Development and construction, as well as customer implementation processes using cross-functional project teams to provide contracted services to customers, ensuring project timelines are met in accordance with Crown Castle policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Partners with Real Estate Acquisition negotiators, Zoning Project Manager, Wireless Customers and Site Acquisition Vendors to identify strategic real estate candidates for the construction of new wireless infrastructure.
- Provides lease extension negotiation support by reviewing and discussing viability of real estate option candidates and project timelines.
- Prepares accurate Schedule of Values for the Strategic Relocation negotiation team and initial construction budgeting purposes.
- Provides design review of relocation related construction drawings.
- Coordinates with and directs Field Construction Managers (FCM) for on-site construction activities and support as necessary.
- Coordinates utility designs with local providers and fiber delivery with wireless carriers.
- Compiles bid packages, coordinates/attends bid walks as appropriate, and provides scope clarification to general contractors as appropriate.
- Assists in budget coordination and tracking, and PO process with Site Development project coordinator.
- Responsible for setting the construction timeline and scheduling.
- Coordinates all inspections as needed.
- Works with all necessary departments on closeout items and site handoff to operations.
- Responsible for carrier equipment coordination and installation to ensure uninterrupted network service, and identifies construction challenges that could impact strategic timelines.
- Must possess a strong understanding of strategic initiatives and landlord messaging.
Expectations
- Advanced knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, tower maintenance, and property management
- Advanced knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process.
- Ability to read and understand A&E drawings
- Ability to direct the diagnosis of work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
- Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
Education/Certifications/Licensure
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Five (5) years or more of tower construction experience in wireless and three years of project management experience
- Experience managing project budgets or related financial experience
- Customer facing project management experience a plus

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
