The overall objective of the Project Manger role is to be accountable for the overall project budget and schedule from start to
finish. To achieve this objective, the Project Manager will be engaged in the project from the time the sales team determines that
the project is viable and oversee every aspect of the project from our DFMA process, Manufacturing, Assembly and Close-out.
This role is pivotal to the success of the project as the Project Manager will collaborate on the project by utilizing accountability
methods with the responsible departments ranging from Sales, Estimating, DFMA, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing
& Transportation, and Site Operations. The Project Manager will be the main point of contact to our clients from start to finish.
The Project Manager will travel to jobsites as necessary to effectively manage the project, attend design coordination meetings,
and run internal and external progress meetings. The Project Manager will provide monthly project status updates to the
Executive Team. The company is in a development and scaling phase, as such this role will require flexibility as the company
develops.
Principal Responsibilities
· Project budget maintenance and monthly forecasting in collaboration with internal departments.
· Project schedule creation and maintenance in collaboration with internal departments.
· Ensuring project submittals and RFI’s are being processed and tracked as required to meet the project schedule.
· Coordinating project and issue specific meetings and calls, both internal and external.
· Aid in resolving design and construction related issues throughout the lifecycle of the project.
· Identify when change orders are appropriate; price and create change orders for approval by client.
· Collaboration on the development of processes and systems related to core responsibilities.
Professional Qualities & Experience
· 3+ years experience in a Project Manager level position.
· Unfailing focus on customer service with a proven ability to deliver quality results on-time.
· Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
· Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior
management, as well as hourly staff.
· Experience reading and interpreting contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
· Scheduling fundamentals.
· Excel in the use of the MS Office platform; experience with Smartsheets is preferred.
