MUST HAVE:
- Nuclear Background (Design)
- Bachelor' degree in Engineering discipline.
- 2 years project management experience with 5 years of nuclear related work.
- PMP not required but is preferred.
- Engineering Design experience on a capital scale.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within specified deadlines and budgets. Your role will involve coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing resources, and ensuring that projects meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, design, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Engineering Design Oversight: Lead and supervise engineering design activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards. Review and approve design documentation, including drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Anticipate and resolve resource conflicts as they arise.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns. Proactively monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues or concerns. Maintain open and transparent communication channels.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that engineering projects meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections and reviews.
- Change Management: Manage project scope changes effectively, assessing their impact on schedule, budget, and resources. Communicate changes to stakeholders and adjust project plans as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management framework. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
- Customer Satisfaction: Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders by understanding their needs and expectations. Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed customer satisfaction criteria.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
