Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Demonstration Infrastructure and Support/Partnership group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a NRIC Project Manager.

Our team works a hybrid 9x80 schedule located at our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off!

Responsibilities Include:

Responsibilities include managing NRIC's small projects and task-oriented scope for NRIC's large test-bed and other projects:

  • Support large programs by providing tactical day-to-day oversight of budget, schedule performance, and construction progress
  • Support the development and revision of project/programs documentation, such as project charters, project execution plans, and schedules
  • Support the development and execution of projects/programs though out the entire lifecycle; to include project control and performance measurements
  • Responsible for technical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and industry processes including their interfaces and interdependencies
  • Utilize construction, operations, R&D, and business systems throughout the project to assure project scope is accomplished, schedules are met, and work is completed within budget
  • Establish and maintain communication with the customer throughout the entire project to resolve problems and coordinate service functions
  • Act as lead for assigned small/medium projects in planning and establishing schedules, forecasts, budgets, parameters, etc., and monitor progress to assure schedules are met and work is performed within budget
  • Manage projects to ensure that they are completed on schedule, within budget, and that all work is performed in a safe manner
  • In conjunction with completing the projects on schedule and within budget, ensure every effort is being employed to make sure that the technical and functional requirements specified by DOE are being met
  • Develop teams as appropriate to successfully complete projects
  • Support efforts to collect information from Program/Project Managers and assemble it into reports/presentations, to ensure
  • NRIC's project accomplishments are reported in a timely manner,
  • Program dashboards encompassing all NRIC projects are updated and available for review, and
  • Monthly, executive quality, highlight documents are available for dissemination
  • Plan and conduct planning and execution meetings
  • Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in applying team building concepts

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • PR0200 - Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years professional experience, or and advanced degree and 1 year professional experience
  • PR0300 - Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years professional experience, or and advanced degree and 3+ years professional experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Engineering/STEM degree
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience/knowledge of Nuclear related projects is preferable
  • Experience with digital engineering tools, collaboration tools, and systems engineering practices are preferred

Job Information:

  • Salary Grade PR0200 - 190- ($70,680 - $116,616)/ PR0300- 200 - ($81,288 - $134,100)
