Job DescriptionWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Under general supervision, the Project Manager oversees multiple projects of a complex nature from original concept through final implementation.
- Defines project scope and objectives.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Optimizes resource utilization and achievement of client expectations.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides analytical guidance to project team.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Makes decision on client requirements and change in schedules.
- Ensures budgetary compliance.
- Assesses risks and develops mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Requires a bachelor's degree (mechanical engineering, building science, construction management degree preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 1 year related experience.
- Strong experiential knowledge of project planning methodologies.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Must understand standard project planning methodologies.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
- Must be able to engage project team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines without direct managerial authority.
