Senior Construction Manager of Government Projects
Overview:
Our client is a large international firm seeking a Senior Project Manager for Government Construction Projects. The primary area of work is with military and government clients with construction budgets up to $50 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing proposed scope of work, fee proposals, establishing project design budget and schedule, and ensuring internal communication and coordination of design efforts occurs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to prepare proposed scope of work
• Prepare fee proposals for full-service design work
• Establish documents and electronic media files for internal accounting and storage of technical data
• Ensure internal communication and coordination of design efforts occurs and schedules are met
• Prepare all external communication and invoices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of working with federal government organizations, such as Huntsville Center, MDA, NASA, USACE, NAVFAC, and related contracting organizations
• Capable of directing and managing a multi-discipline team of design engineers, architects, or technicians on government projects
• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited institution in Engineering or a Master’s degree of Architecture from an accredited institution
• Professional licensure (PE/RA) strongly desired
• LEED Accreditation and PMP is desired.
• Minimum of 12 years of combined experience in designing and managing medium to large-sized multi-discipline projects.
• Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility based on investigation current within the last four years is preferred.
• Polygraph (CI or Full Scope) current within 5 years is preferred.

Relocation will be considered as well as telecommuting for regionally remote candidates (120 miles of Huntsville, AL)
