The group leads the management and continued expansion of iconic brands Toca Madera, CasaMadera, Sparrow Italia, and Meduza Mediterrania while also developing new concepts like Villa Noblethat will further expand the boundaries of high-energy upscale-dining. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to ensure our projects are organized and trackingtowards target budgets & schedules.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for hospitality andwould love to grow with our rapidly expanding company.The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of each new restaurant from design throughcompletion of construction, as well as existing restaurants and remodels. This role will drive brandappropriate design concepts for all concepts and ensure project objectives are met while achievingtimeline and financial targets. The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Development.
Job Responsibilities: General: Manage planning and build out process for all new restaurants, remodels, and specialprojects as needed. Manage projects and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate withstakeholders, landlords, real estate managers, construction managers, architects,engineers, designers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Store Design & Development: Act as a conduit between the various stakeholders and the design teams to ensure allcompany requirements are accounted for and approvals are obtained.
Review and evaluate project specifications and drawings for accuracy, completeness,and conformance with company standards. Research municipal requirements for entitlements and permitting, along withmanagement of approvals. Finance: Process all development related contracts, invoices, and change orders.
Keep project budgets up to date to provide real time financial tracking. Negotiate scope and fees of services with contractors and vendors to meet companybudget goals. Construction: Identify and qualify general contractors and subcontractors to service restaurantprojects in a variety of markets.
Communicate with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure performance isaligned with project specifications and brand standards. Create site reports following inspections to track progress against contractor billings andbuild-out schedule. Review Shop drawings and submittals alongside the design team to verify everything isbuilt to project specifications and brand standards.
Create and manage punchlists, along with Day 2 requests. Create and manage close out and hand-off documentation. Conduct construction site inspections to ensure that the project is being built to projectspecifications and brand standards.
Job Requirements: Bachelor Degree in architecture, engineering, project management, interior design, and/orrelated field. 5+ years experience in a firm that specializes in hospitality, with knowledge of design andconstruction. Strong written and verbal communication.
Must be extremely organized and persistent. Ability to take direction and perform in a fast paced environment. Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while managing projects with specified timeframes.
Works well under pressure and with other team members. Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Docs, Bluebeam, and Smartsheets. AutoCAD and Adobe Suiteare a plus.
The job is remote, but candidates would ideally reside in Miami or New York. Willing to travel to active project locations nationwide. Must possess a valid driver license and apassport.
