Project Management Officer
Job Description:
As a Project Management Officer (PMO) for the SPARK (= new ERP) project at Atlas Copco Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of a new ERP system for our global Rental business. Your mission will be to support the roll-out and change management activities, making our ERP deployment as efficient and impactful as possible.
The PMO will be responsible for overseeing and managing Project Management activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans for each phase of the ERP system implementation, considering scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of each implementation phase. Provide guidance and support to project managers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, action plans, templates, presentations, manuals, and project schedules. Ensure that all project-related documentation is up to date.
- OCM & Roll-out Support: Support in planning and execution of the extensive change management and roll-out activities and workshops and maximize resource availability.
- Communication: Facilitate regular communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management. Provide status updates and ensure transparency throughout the project.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project performance to ensure that the implementation adheres to industry best practices and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Project Management, particularly in ERP system implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to Project Management.
