Cogent is currently seeking a Project Coordinator in Riverside, MO. The ideal candidate will have an Associates Degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order entry position. The primary responsibilities of Project Coordinator/Large Projects include:

• Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information throughout the lifecycle of a project
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, on budget, delivered effectively, and meet high-quality standards by understanding project scope, budget, and objectives
• Break down big-picture projects and develop effective project schedules with clear and concise timelines for completion
• Regular status meetings with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure all needs are met as projects evolve
• Problem Solving - Identify potential risks, challenges, and navigate to find creative options to deliver a solution
• Lead project kickoff meetings with the support and participation of inside sales, outside sales, and management as appropriate
• Customer Service is KEY - Stay in constant communication with clients and vendors to ensure all needs are met as projects evolve
• Provide regular project updates to various stakeholders as required by the project
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Enter and manage orders using the entirety of the P21 system (including sales orders, service orders, etc) as appropriate
• Responsibility for cost and revenue recognition in addition to preparing invoices
• Perform purchasing activities including vendor management and PO creation and tracking
• Requires close coordination with multiple departments within Cogent including outside sales, inside sales, other order coordinator groups, controls, service, reliability, etc as project requirements dictate
