Project Coordinator Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW
The Project Coordinator (PC) is an integral member of the project team, responsible for coordinating projects of varying size and complexity and/or its many moving parts. The PC is involved in facilitating and controlling project activities, record keeping, project documentation, financial tracking, communicating requests, managing flow of information and reporting current state of projects to higher management.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
The primary role of the Project Coordinator is to enable all projects to be well-organized, meet policy requirements and are completed on time and within the budget. Their work requires organizedmultitasking, attention to detail and effective communication skills. These flexible professionals are self-motivated team players and dependable problem solvers with solid interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
In addition to these soft skills, they have database-specific knowledge (SAP/SRM, Business Intelligence Reporting, 4Site etc.) as well as experience in word processing, accounting, reporting, scheduling and basic math.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Some of the most desirable project coordinator skills and attributes include but are not limited to:
· Documentation management. (Document creation, cashflow records, forecasts, Journal Transfers)
· Procurement management. (create specs, manage/review bids, PO’s & CO’s)
· Understanding of finance and accounting reporting.

· Interpersonal and communication skills.
· Team-management skills.
· Strong Organizational skills.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint & Teams)
· Collaboratively manage financial commitments (budget, audit & process invoices/payments, PO’s,)
· Recording and archiving skills (complete capitalization & creation of assets at end of project)
REPORTS TO
· Day-to-Day tasks will be directed by Project Manager
· PCs will also be apart of the CAPEX Project Coordinator Support Team led by Business Process Management Consultant
