Guardians of Honor is a small management consulting firm supporting the federal government since 1997 (www.gohnow.com). GOH is seeking an exceptional STEM engagement professional.
The project Coordinator II develops and improves mission-related curriculum. Uses constituent feedback and knowledge of teaching to create a curriculum that is both effective and in line with the latest educational standards and developments. Evaluates the effectiveness of equipment, supplies, and materials used in the implementation and devises strategies to incorporate state-of-the-art resources to optimize curriculum design, delivery, and effectiveness. Creates, tracks, and maintains metrics about
attendance, reach, and effectiveness of programs.
Reports to: NSTEM Project Manager / Deputy Program Manager
Background:
NASA Internships are part of NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement’s portfolio activities and enrichment. NASA Internships are designed to build a diverse future STEM workforce by engaging students in authentic learning experiences, leveraging NASA’s unique mission, with NASA’s people, content, and facilities. NASA Internships achieve these goals by exposing students and educators, who reflect the full diversity of the nation. Those selected for this new program will undertake mentor-guided internships and institutions of Europa Clipper science team members. The primary focus of these internships will be STEM-related, with the goal to develop a Europa science community that looks more like the US population. The goal is to implement a quality, hands-on experimental program that offers talented students from non-R1 academic institutions exposure to scientists funded by a NASA flagship mission. The program supports undergraduate students for 10 week-long internships over the summer.
Requirements:Essential Functions:
- Monitor project timelines and task allocations - updating management tools with status for assigned activities in real time
- Coordinate and collaborate across team to assure that all work products content and functionality are of highest quality and informed with up-to-date information
- Attend weekly contract management and daily stand-up meetings as needed to support contract execution
- Contributes to client progress and status reports (i.e., monthly reports, weekly registration metrics, etc.)
- Documents all expenses in ODC tracker
- Prepare and maintain project file folders with all completed work products, artifacts, and deliverables
- Contribute to quality control process - to include peer review of work products and coordinating QC of deliverables
- Document quality control of work products and deliverables prior to delivery to client and/or management
- Stay up to date on necessary technology and processes and show initiative in capturing, documenting, and implementing best practices and lessons learned to improve quality and efficiency of services and solutions

- Must be proficient in in Smartsheet, MS SharePoint, MS Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and a variety of virtual meeting platforms (i.e., Zoom, Teams, Connect, etc.)
- NASA STEM Gateway Management System (Salesforce) experience a plus
- 508 compliance experience a plus

Work Environment: The work environment is a typical office remote setting.
Physical demands: The physical demands of the job include sitting for extended periods, and occasional
walking and standing.
Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time exempt position. Typical work hours are
Monday-Friday, 40-60 hours per week. Some job activities may be required outside of typical
workdays/hours. Overtime is expected during peak periods.
Travel: 10% local and regional travel, with overnight stays necessary
Required education and experience: Bachelor’s degree required
Additional eligibility qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of industry-specific experience required
