Job description

Project Coordinator
  • Contract Duration 12+ months
  • Pay rate up to $22- $25/hr

Job Summary:
  • The Project Coordinator role provides management and support on small and third-party projects.
  • This position will be the trusted customer interface and work closely with our internal teams and any third-party providers in delivering successful engagements.
  • The IT Project Coordinator role provides support to various internal IT projects, processes, tools, and practices.
  • Key areas of concentration include ITIL Processes and tools, PMO application administration, Onboarding/Offboarding, Financial Tracking, Audit management, and foundational Business Analysis

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Ensures resource availability and allocation
  • Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Reports and escalates to management as needed
  • Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Identifies, tracks, and manages project issues
  • Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meets budgetary objectives and makes adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Manages, tracks, and reports on project billing milestone status and completion schedule as needed
  • Uses and continually develops leadership skills as needed
  • Forecasts project revenue and ensures revenue commitments to the business are met as needed
  • Coordinates ITIL Change Management & Problem Management processes
  • Supports and performs administration of PMO applications including Footprints, SharePoint, and Planview Supports the New Hire and Employee Separation processes for onboarding and offboarding C1 Resources
  • Supports Financial Tracking of contractor and project expenses Coordinates IT participation in Compliance Audits including SOC2, ITGC, PCI, HIIPA
  • Provides foundational Business analysis and QA on internal IT projects

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists in organizing and preparing materials Plans and coordinates team meetings and events Populates Team Calendars with activities and pertinent information
  • Disseminates communications and reporting across teams and leaders

Required Qualifications
  • 0-3 years of project management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional services environment
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that are audience-appropriate with appropriate style and delivery to influence an audience
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership; understand your role and accept individual responsibility forseeing a task through to its completion (end-to-end), understand when and how to escalate, take appropriate (avoid unnecessary risk), and understand the impact of decisions
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • General working knowledge of Project Management & Business System Analysis methodologies
  • General working knowledge of ITIL Familiarity with administration of PMO applications including ITSM and PPM tools
  • Familiarity with audit processes
  • Familiarity with basic Financial principles such as AP/AR Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Self-starter, operates independently and anticipates what needs to get done Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task Flexible and dependable.
  • Must meet deadlines regardless of schedule 3+ years of experience providing support at a departmental level including senior-level executives

Desired/Preferred Qualifications
  • PMI, CCMP, or ITIL or other service management certifications
  • Experience with Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, or Genesys product lines
  • BS/BA degree in business, project management, MIS, computer science or related fields
  • Certifications ITIL Certification

  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
