Salary: $61,613 - $74,045
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full-time Project Coordinator position in The Division of Systems Neuroscience at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. The incumbent will perform technical support for lab members including supplies inventory and restocking, and implementing lab protocols (60%), they also will assist for processing purchase requisitions, invoices, travel arrangements and other tasks and paperwork necessary for the project they assigned (40%).
The chosen candidate must have expert organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic and complicated environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily/weekly inventory of lab supplies and materials and making arrangements to restock materials and general supplies according to the project needs
- Ordering supplies and materials, receive and distribute packages, submitting invoices for payments
- Organize and attend meetings as applicable to the projects that they are involved with and conduct relevant literature/background searches as necessary for data/study analysis, making notes
- Process travel and business expense reimbursement for project personnel
- Keep track of annual certifications for research personnel
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and at least 3 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of work experience in a research/non-profit environment
- 1+ year of lab management/ project administration experience
- 1+ year of data analysis experience
