Job Summary: As a Project Controls Coordinator IV, you will be the driving force behind the planning and execution of engineering and construction projects with budgets exceeding $100 million per year. You'll be at the helm of multi-year, highly intricate projects, ensuring that they run like clockwork. Your role will encompass everything from strategic project planning to seamless integration of cost and schedule functions, all while maintaining impeccable quality control over project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mastermind the Project Execution Plan: Lead the charge in creating a comprehensive project execution plan that sets the foundation for success.
- Champion Control Deliverables: Oversee the development and maintenance of vital project control deliverables, including cost and schedule reports, cash flow analyses, and change management procedures.
- Unify Cost and Schedule Teams: Bring cost control and scheduling functions into harmony, transforming them into a seamless, high-performing team.
- Resource Jedi: Define the project's resource needs with precision to ensure every facet is properly staffed.
- Quality Commander: Vigilantly ensure the completeness and accuracy of all project control documents.
- Phase Gate Guru: Take the lead in collecting essential materials for Phase Gate Review meetings, maintaining the flow of project progression.
Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering Expertise: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Decades of Experience: A minimum of twelve years of experience specifically in Project Controls Coordination.
- Preferred Credentials: A Professional Engineer's Registration (P.E.) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will set you apart.
