KeenLogic is seeking a Required Training Manager to join our team on Capitol Hill at the U.S. House of Representatives. This is an onsite role Monday through Friday. This is a full-time position offering full health benefits, PTO, 401k, and monthly reimbursement for travel.
Background:
The Required Training Manager will manage the planning, administration, communication, scheduled delivery, and evaluation of the three House required training programs with specific focus on end user training to meet specific business needs of Members, Committee, Leadership Offices, and their staff. The incumbent will focus on operational delivery, support, and closure of required training programs for Ethics, Cybersecurity and Workplace Rights and Responsibilities. This position does not have supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage required training project timelines, communications, and deliverables.
- Work closely with required training stakeholders to ensure setup and operational activities meet their requirements and stay on schedule.
- Supervise setup of required training courses in Learning Management System.
- Analyzes performance problems and identify opportunities for improvement for required training. Analyze procedures and processes, recommend practical solutions, and determine and promote effective training compliance.
- Maintain required training policies up to date in Learning Management System, HouseNet and all platforms where advertised.
- Conduct outreach communication and advertising activities.
- Maintain administrative workflow of all required training items, agendas, policies, and procedures of operational delivery.
- Create efficiencies amongst the three required training programs and find solutions to synchronize processes amongst them.
- Produce Workplace Rights and Responsibilities report as needs to include weekly, monthly, bi- annual and end of year report.
- Communicate issues and updates of training programs to director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in training and in managing a centralized training function.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and apply technical and behavioral performance improvement solutions to help achieve organizational goals.

- Knowledge of House-training systems.

- Demonstrated and extensive experience in training subject areas is required (platforms, delivery methods, analytics, survey, customer feedback).

- Ability to apply discretion in communications and interactions with coworkers and students.
Security Requirements:
- Must successfully complete a criminal history records check.
- Employees may be subject to drug testing in accordance with the CAO Drug Free Workplace Plan.
- Must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government Public Trust level of investigation as deemed appropriate by senior management.
