Program Manager For Minority Entrepreneurs (Dc Preferred)

This position will provide executive support for our CEO and manage projects. Program Manager will be responsible for organizing in-person and virtual event for Minority creators and entrepreneurs for our School at Night Initiative (schoolatnight.com). The ideal candidate will manage business and "artificial intelligence" program and events, organize a robust catalog of students ensuring their records are accurate, manage all incoming correspondence from customers and stakeholders, lead intake meetings for temporary staff, negotiate contracts with event partners, ensure the successful outcome of 6-10 classes hosted monthly. We are seeking someone who is a creative thinker, purpose-driven and high-performer who is excited to enter into a competitive field.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a proven track record of managing multiple programs at the same time and maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Minority Entrepreneurs in launching e-commerce businesses
• Effectively manage the programmatic and executive 's calendar
• Assist in strategizing the path forward for expansion into new markets
• Organize, manage and support the logistics for monthly business and technology classes
• Negotiate vendor contracts with local restaurants, venue spaces, suppliers, etc
• Support virtual classes by actively engaging with adult learners and ensuring their successful completion of curriculum
• Manage correspondence for all enrolled and prospective students
• Demonstrate ability to categorize tasks and manage fast-paced workflow with minimal oversight and supervision
• Handle correspondence and other documents for executive.
• Attend in-person Saturday classes 8AM - 4PM

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
