Program Specialist

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of assignments to include research analysis and compiling those findings into standard plain language formats, requires experience with budget, records management and employee development activities.

Qualifications:

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The time-in-grade and qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for this position at the GS-09 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

• Planning and organizing budget activities and functions within a division; and
• Performing a variety of reviews and studies of work operations and program activities (e.g. records management and employee development) which support management.

Education
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
OR
Combination of education and experience.
