What are we looking for in a Program Manager?
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing staff and managing the operations of two unique programs within our continuum of community-based integrated care services in the Yakima area. The first program is our new, primary care walk-in clinic opening in January 2024, which will be located within our outpatient facility. The other program is our behavioral health treatment services provided on-site at Camp Hope, a low-barrier emergency homeless shelter in Yakima. The goal of the Program Manager is to supervise assigned staff and operations for these programs to ensure that client care and satisfaction are exceptional, while also maintaining fiscal responsibility. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Program Manager may also participate directly in treatment by providing case management and service coordination and completing clinical documentation. This role will require coordinating directly with clients and their families, staff, and other community providers, so a customer service orientation and the ability to build relationships with diverse groups are essential. Prior experience in practice management, operational improvement, and regulatory compliance within the healthcare field are required for this position. Some local travel within the Yakima area is expected.
Program Manager duties include:
- overseeing day-to-day operations of the assigned programs and promoting high standards through the development and implementation of workflows & protocols

- providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners, ensuring all client complaints are adequately addressed and holding staff accountable to customer service policies and client satisfaction goals
- mentoring and coaching individual employees and teams, providing guidance and structure to achieve best practice, and working to develop strong clinical skills and optimal performance across all staff
- partnering with other healthcare leaders to develop a coordinated delivery system within the community and to promote our services & mission
