Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Provide expertise exhibiting a depth of knowledge across operations to include operational, engineering, maintenance, system test and technical management disciplines.
- Work directly with the customer to determine project requirements, develop a work plan, execute the work and deliver their part on the work performed.
- Act as the hiring manager for assigned projects/programs; supervise the screening, selection, and hiring of all candidates.
- Ensure projects/programs are executed to the highest level of safety and compliance while maintaining all personnel meet professional standards.
- Accomplish performance appraisals, provide feedback to and mentor employees, take corrective or developmental actions as required
- Participate in proposal writing, review, and development of cost and pricing data
- Analyze operational capability requirements and determine adequate technical solutions.
- Perform technical evaluations of contractor proposals for program management personnel and Government Contracting Officers.
- Develop acquisition strategy, project schedules, program plans, financial plans and other time-sensitive documentation.
- Develop Program budget, forecasts, and Contribution Margin analysis
- Prepare contract Statements of Work and Contract Data Requirements Lists.
- Assist USG program managers in monitoring contractor schedule and performance.
- Research existing and evolving technology for application to the programs.
- Act as primary company interface with customers
- Be a champion of COMPANY culture and values in all aspects of day-to-day functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Current Secret DoD clearance; will need to upgrade to a TS/SCI upon hiring
- Experience with UAS operations highly desired
- Military or Defense Industry experience in managing flight operations, logistics, or maintenance programs (highly desired)
- Familiarity with US Military and Federal Acquisition Regulations (desired)
- 3-5 years of Project/Program management experience (desired)
- DAWIA level 2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (certification required within 6 months of employment)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products to include Word, Excel, Project, and Access
- Proficiency with Adobe Products to include Acrobat and Photoshop
