Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Logistics Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Product Support. This position will be located on site in Melbourne, FL.
This Logistics Program Manager (LPM) 3 will manage execution of Product Support work supporting a classified program within the overall EMD program. This position also entails direct support of PST Leadership and managing LPM 2's supporting the classified program.
Technical areas of responsibility include:

  • Reliability, Maintainability & Testability
  • Design for Supportability
  • Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
  • Maintenance Planning
  • Availability/Operations & Support (O&S) Modeling
  • Support Equipment Engineering
  • Training & Training Systems
  • Technical Data

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage the execution & integration of Product Support Team (PST) efforts listed above supporting the classified program.
  • Be the single point of accountability for accomplishing program objectives for all PST program efforts.
  • Identify and communicate design and issue impacts across the larger logistics community on the program to drive design changes and ensure all program and customer requirements are addressed.
  • Prepare and manage project schedule and budgets to include EVMS (where required) and prepare status reports on the health of the projects.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.
  • Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Prepare briefings for management/customer and develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention and problem solving with project managers, suppliers and clients.
  • Provide management and guidance to the Logistics Development Team supporting the program.
  • Provide management and guidance to the Strike LPM team.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 10 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Logistics, OR a Master's degree and 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Logistics.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Defense Acquisition Logistics
  • Knowledge of the Engineering Change Proposal process
  • Extensive experience leading a team and developing talent, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Experience integrating Product Support efforts across the disciplines described above.
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVMS).

Salary Range: $156,000.00 - $234,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
