The Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence, (www.stetson.edu/other/brown center) founded in 2014 by a generous endowment from Cici and Hyatt Brown, promotes faculty vitality and vibrancy through professional development opportunities that support and enhance the professional growth and success of faculty members, thereby contributing to the achievement of Stetson University's strategic priorities related to teaching excellence, research, and scholarship; community and collaboration; community engagement; supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion; and adapting to a changing educational landscape. The Program Manager supports the mission of the Brown Center by providing critical logistical support for communications, operations, programming, and budgetary matters. The Program Manager works closely with the Brown Center Director to plan and direct center activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide logistical support (i.e., reservations, event planning and catering)
- Work with the Brown Center director, faculty fellows, and other stakeholders to coordinate programming
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Support preparation of annual budget requests
- Manage budgetary matters and multiple forms of financial and reporting paperwork (i.e., credit card reconciliation, reimbursements, budget transfers, stipends, expenses, etc.)
- Track monthly spending with Excel and Banner reconciliation
- Manage supplies for office and center programs
- Supervise student assistants (i.e., Account/finance and Communication/media maintenance)
- Maintain confidentiality as required when handling professional matters
- Support inclusion and equity strategies for faculty development that maximize diversity as a learning asset
- Contribute to an office environment that fosters trust, respect, cooperation, honest communication, accountability, and equity
- Perform other site and position specific duties as assigned

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- 3-4 years of program management experience
- Fluency using Microsoft Office, Office 365, and Outlook
- Fluency using communication platforms such as Teams and Zoom to schedule and facilitate meetings and virtual workshops
- Experience planning events
- Familiarity with the web-based learning management system Canvas
- Familiarity with the web content management program WordPress
