- Develops and ensures successful partnerships with stakeholders in the region by setting new standards with a business-driven model to promote innovation
- Develops strategic plans and policy to meet the mission of the company
- Monitors the day-to-day delivery of programs and services to improve quality
- Responsible for the successful leadership and management of the entire team, further advising the mission while achieving strategic objectives
- Works with key personnel in developing and managing Center budget and staffing costs
- Plans weekly meetings with stakeholders, including the management team
- Works with the Workforce Board and Executive leadership in further developing organizational goals and objectives consistent with the mission and vision
- Identifies, assesses, and informs the board and executive leadership of internal and external issues that affect the organization
- Fosters effective teamwork between all vertical and horizontal stakeholders
- Oversees the planning implementation and evaluation of the organization’s programs and services
- Experience in one of the following areas: human resources/recruiting, job development, or account management
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in public policy, management, or related field preferred
- Seven or more years of executive-level leadership preferably in a metric-driven environment
- Three or more years of management experience in planning, evaluation, policy development, and administration of personnel and fiscal management
- Demonstrated success in managing a diverse staff in a respectful and ethical manner
- Demonstrated experience in creating and tracking outcomes to ensure growth and standards
- Proven and successful experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and managing staff
- Energetic self-starter, with the ability to be motivated and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Personal integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission and goals of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proven success in developing long-term positive relations with business partners and employees
