Summary

The mission of Tech Goes Home is to empower communities to access and use digital tools to overcome barriers and advance lives. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Program Associate will be responsible for interacting with instructors, learners, and partners to inform and resolve issues in response to TGH’s programming logistics. This is a part-time, temporary position with the opportunity to extend at the discretion of the organization.

Job Duties

• Promptly respond to communication in TGH email accounts and escalate higher level issues.

• Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the TGH program model to assist instructors effectively.

• Investigate concerns and resolve complaints or issues effectively.

• Provide technical assistance to instructors through learner enrollment, engagement, and graduation.

• Oversee delivery logistics, troubleshooting issues that may arise.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organization.

• Gather and relay feedback to the appropriate internal teams to improve communications, processes, and services about the TGH experience.

• Other duties as assigned and necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to problem-solve efficiently. Candidates should also demonstrate the following:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult interactions with professionalism.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Proven experience in a customer service or related role

• Self-starter with the ability to be very organized and follow through on projects.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• A roll up your sleeves attitude where all work is valued and all constituents are treated with patience and respect.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies. A desire to expand their knowledge base continuously. Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:

• Salesforce

• Asana

• Slack

• Google Workspace

• Jira

• Knowledge of a second language is a plus (Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, Haitian Creole).

CompensationTGH offers competitive compensation for all staff positions. The exact salary that will be offered to the candidate will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.

Salary Range: $25/hour; up to 25 hours per week
