Job description

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) manages the exploration and development of the nation's offshore resources. It seeks to appropriately balance economic development, energy independence, and environmental protection through oil and gas leases, renewable energy development and environmental reviews and studies. To qualify for this position you must meet the specialized experience for the series to which you are applying.
Specialized Experience
To qualify for the GS-13, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience:

1) Experience interpreting and applying EEO laws within an EEO program such as the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act of 2008 and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 regulations and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act of 2022.
2) Experience assisting with developing and conducting EEO and diversity and inclusion training.
3) Experience assisting with management and reporting of EEO data.

MUST MEET ALL THREE STATEMENTS.
To qualify for the GS-14, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. 4) Experience initiating, leading, and managing EEO and diversity programs or projects.
