NYTech seeks a Professor or Full Professor, Tenure Track in Nursing, for the School of Health Professions located at the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.
Responsibilities
- Develop teaching, learning, and assessment paradigm for junior and senior nursing students in a generic RN and RN-BS program.
- Direct clinical coordination, seeking and acquiring clinical practice environments within the tri-state and Long Island area for undergraduate students.
- Assist in the development and teaching of a master's in nursing, nurse practitioner program. Other duties include advisement and service to the Department, School, and College. Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Must have an established research agenda.
Qualifications
- Doctoral prepared (Ph.D., DNP, Ed.D.) Nurse practitioner [Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner].
- Active research agenda. Previous publications/presentations of research are a plus.
- Experience in curriculum design is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel.
- Confidence in adapting to new technological pedagogy/andragogy. Rapport with clinical facilities in the Tri-State Area and Long Island.
