MVCC is seeking to fill a full-time, ten-month Instructor position in the School of Public and Human Services. This position will provide instruction for Psychology and ChemicalDependency Practitioner programs. Teaching faculty at MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission of providing high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. Full-time faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with establishedpolicies and guidelines. Courses may be taught in traditional classroomsettings and over the Internet. This position may include both daytime andevening classes on our Utica and/or Rome campuses. Specific assignments will bemade according to the academic qualifications and availability of theindividual and the School needs. In addition to teaching human servicescourses, full-time instructors participate in program assessment, curriculumdevelopment, student advisement and facilitating student internshipexperiences. They serve as members of various School and CollegeCommittees.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work (MSW) with NY State licensure (i.e., LMSW, LCSW) and NYS CASAC required.
