Position Title: Production Worker
Location: Kapolei Store
Schedule: Must be flexible. Core hours are between 7am - 7:30pm, Monday to Sunday, including holidays to meet the needs of the business. Availability to work on the weekends is required.
Compensation: $14.00/hour plus competitive benefits package (for full time employees)
Job Summary: As a Production Worker, you will be responsible to inspect items for defects and use assigned standards to determine outcome of item by performing the following duties.
Some of your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Removes item from bins or carts for close inspection to determine if item is saleable.
- Scans clothing/textile items for defects such as holes, rips, tears, misaligned or missing fasteners or trim, and variations in color of fabric for clothing items. Examines fabric for holes or stains. Sorts textiles to determine quality and price or if item goes to As-Is, bale, or dump if appropriate
- For non-clothing items, scans items for defects such as cracks, rust, broken or missing pieces, stains, and if item is operational. Sort and price item accordingly. Cleans item as needed.
- Hangs, tags, and prices textile and non-textile items.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require or stocking as needs arise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds in wheeled containers.
- Individual must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people.
