About the Position
The purpose of this position is to fabricate high reliability and production products for customers and design engineers. The ability to work with engineering with either verbal or written instruction is required.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Document changes or discrepancies in the parts as to design, specification, and process as they are discovered. Communicate these findings with the engineer.
- Assemble parts, encapsulation, varnishing, testing, and marking. Ensure that products meet mechanical and visual requirements of the specifications.
- Complete assembly of production, prototype and first article modules could include winding, assembly, molding, stamping, and testing.
- Assist in the training of all new and existing assemblers in iNRCORE manufacturing and test methods if applicable.
- Assist the department manager in the upkeep of all production tools and equipment and proper storage of materials.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: This position requires a High School Degree or equivalent education.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in electronics assembly environment preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: All positions require experience with soldering equipment, hand tools, encapsulation equipment, marking equipment, wire terminating, stripping, bonding, or handling equipment. winding equipment, and basic test equipment such as LCR meters and digital multimeters. Must be able to understand schematic drawings and have good manual dexterity and visual acuity. Must be able to work with a microscope or magnifying lens.
