Inventory Technician: Production Support
This role is responsible for general labor and Production Support activities, including inventory, documentation controls, marking and label creation, and supplies maintenance. Other responsibilities include assisting in fabrication, assembly of custom Switchgear structures of varying size and scope to meet client and product specs and prepare the same for shipment.
Description of Primary Duties:
· Data Entry of part numbers for creating custom labels.
· Maintaining minimal level of stock for inventory
· Assist in the maintenance and cleanup of the production floor, including removal of trash, cardboard, and other general tasks.
. Use of lifting equipment, including pallet jacks and forklift. Recertification is required.
· May be required to cross train, supporting other sections of the Company.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
· Experience troubleshooting of general office equipment
· Follow verbal directions to meet production schedule.
· Ability to use tape measure
· Ability to pass background check.
· High dedication to quality of results to avoid rework.
· Ability to work under pressure/ time constraints.
· Able to work with minimal direction and achieve objectives.
· Ability to read electrical schematics.
· Able to lift/ carry up to 50 pounds.
· Able to occasionally use lifting, moving equipment such as a pallet jack and forklift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
