Cardinal FG - Mooresville, is a team-based facility and currently has openings for Production Technicians. Our facility located in Mooresville, N.C. is a safety sensitive, clean and temperature- controlled environment.

The jobs of a Production Technician include the following: Glass Handler - packs glass onto racks; Automation Line Operator - operates and monitors the automation/robot equipment; Driver - operates powered industrial vehicles safely moving racks of glass; Closing Inspector - verifies that the glass meets customer specifications; Closer - closes racks of glass using various packing materials; Set Up - prepares empty racks for production glass orders.
Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Ability to read write and communicate in English; Tape measure reading and basic math skills; Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate on a computer in a windows - based environment; Ability to safely lift 50 pounds; Desire to work in s team environment; Manufacturing experience preferred, A two day orientation and several training shifts are provided; Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen;
Cardinal FG offers a 12-hour rotating shift schedule with 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights including every other weekend. The starting wage is $20.85/hr. on days and $21.65/hour on nights. Wage increases at 1 year and 2 years based on successful performance evaluations. There are paid holidays, vacation and float time. There is a monthly profit-sharing plan, 401 K retirement plan, health and dental insurance, company paid life insurance and a Health Savings Account with employer contribution match. The profit-sharing plan can pay a lump sum and an amount into the 401 K monthly. If the profit sharing is calculated into a dollar per hour equivalent, the equivalent can be an additional $5 to $8 per hour the first year. After the second year the hourly rate with the profit sharing can equate to $27 per hour.
