Glen Raven is recruiting for a Product Change Technician which is responsible to perform primary and secondary duties of cleaning the yarn manufacturing machines/frames as required. The Clean for Blend Change employee is necessary to maintain superior housekeeping to avoid contamination.
** This is an 8 hour 3rd shift role with a base rate of $18.98 with $1.00 shift premium **

Responsibilities:
- Follow directions and carry out color changes
- Perform cleaning duties on assigned equipment/machines
- Make necessary machine set-ups for new colors
- Assist in starting machines after cleaning and machine set-up is complete
- Lubricate and check assigned equipment
- Blow off and check packing line and support equipment
- Clean walls, windows, lights, light housing and ceiling in assigned areas
- Remove any tags/lint off sprinkler heads
- Sweep floor
- Take pneumafil waste to waste hopper
- Make sure waste has label with color, color number, lot number and shift on it
- Follow all safety work practices and company policies - SAFETY FIRST
Experience and Education:
- Mechanical experience required
- Previous experience in a textile manufacture preferred
- High School Diploma Preferred
