About the Role

We are seeking a highly reliable and motivated Production Line Worker to join our bakery line. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, embraces change, and is committed to quality and efficiency. You'll be responsible for running our baking line independently, ensuring that every product meets our high standards. This role is crucial in our production line, requiring a balance of repetitive precision and physical stamina to maintain the high standards our customers expect.

You will work with the Production Team, keep clean workstations and equipment in excellent condition, make sure the bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly, and perform other duties to ensure that the end consumers' needs are satisfied. You should be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of
SOPS.

Key Responsibilities

● Operate and manage the bakery line with a high level of independence (at times you will be working solo), ensuring continuous production without compromising quality.

● Perform repetitive tasks with unwavering attention to detail, ensuring product consistency and quality.

● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand for long periods of time, sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel, sit or stand for long periods of time, bend, squat, reach and turn to access equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

● Embrace the dynamic nature of our manufacturing environment, adapting to changes with a positive outlook.

● Uphold SOPs and safety protocols, contributing to our culture of excellence and care.

● Efficiently perform a range of tasks, not limited to the bakery line, including weighing, mixing, cleaning, packing, sorting, labelling, and inspecting, with the flexibility to rotate through multiple positions as needed.

● Operate production equipment safely, adhering to all SOPs, and troubleshoot basic issues to maintain continuous operation.

● Ensure the accurate use of raw materials and complete all operational paperwork thoroughly.

● Inspect finished goods continuously for quality and ensure that products and components match scheduled runs and specifications.

● Collaborate with other Team Members within the facility to enhance efficiency and results.

What You’ll Bring…

● Proven experience as a Production Line Worker, preferably in a food production or bakery setting OR experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment, with a willingness to work in various roles as required and an understanding of the importance of product consistency.

● Strong understanding of production procedures and machinery.
● Comfortable working independently, or with another Team Member
● A fast pace and the ability to keep things clean as you go
● Fluent in English, able to read instructions carefully.
● Basic math skills

● Basic computer skills
● Ability to work independently and efficiently manage one's time and tasks.
● Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain consistent attendance.
● Must be able to physically stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
● Capability to engage in repetitive, physical tasks without compromising quality.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
● Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.

● Ability to develop and maintain a collaborative and team environment that promotes high-performance standards

● 1st Shift: Begins at 5:00 AM, concluding at 1:30 PM
● 2nd Shift: Starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 3:30 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
