Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations. This position will be an integral part of our manufacturing processes and help to ensure that production activities deliver products of maximum quality in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure day-to-day production activities adhere to schedule

· Monitor production lines and reinforce GMPs, safety, and quality manufacturing principles

· Schedule the temporary labor force and work with the representatives of their respective agencies

· Close work orders and keep track of inventory

· Assist Plant Manager with employee training/demonstration and perform temporary employee orientation

· Provide daily work assignments for Production employees

· Assist Plant Manager in producing weekly schedules and Monthly Production Plan

· Monitor productivity numbers and line balancing requirements

· Order general Production supplies

· Oversee and coach employees

· Identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role

· Organizational and leadership abilities

· Communication and interpersonal skills

· Advanced skills in MS Office

· Experience using manufacturing machinery and tools

· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
