Production Supervisor

Position Overview: The Production Supervisor at REMarkets plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor. This position requires a hands-on leader who can motivate and guide a team of associates to achieve productivity and quality targets. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment while consistently meeting operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and supervise a team of associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure peak performance.
   • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity.
2. Operational Excellence:
   • Monitor and manage workflow on the warehouse floor, ensuring that daily production goals are met and exceeded.
   • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency.
3. Safety and Compliance:
   • Uphold and promote a culture of safety, ensuring that all team members follow safety guidelines and procedures.
   • Enforce compliance with REMarkets policies and procedures, addressing any deviations promptly.
4. Training and Development:
   • Conduct training sessions for new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve team skills and performance.
   • Identify opportunities for skill development and career growth within the team.
5. Communication:
   • Effectively communicate performance expectations, goals, and changes to team members.
   • Collaborate with other supervisors and management to ensure seamless coordination between shifts and departments.
6. Problem Solving:
   • Proactively identify and address operational challenges, working with the team to implement effective solutions.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize operational workflows.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and familiarity with technology-driven logistics systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
