We have an exciting opportunity for a Soy/Grain Production Supervisor in Bainbridge, PA. The core responsibility for this role is to supervise and manage production operations within the soybean crushing and grain facilities to ensure profitability.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the crushing and grain staff to include training and developing staff to meet the needs of the business
- Lead and manage safety programs to ensure safe working conditions for all associates and compliance with all local, state and federal requirements
- Lead and manage environmental programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
- Manage production operations to ensure maximum equipment and personnel utilization
- Manage product quality to ensure customer requirements and specifications are attained
- Manage routine and preventative maintenance programs for the production operations to ensure efficient operation
- Perform job functions within established CGMP's
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Minimum Education
- Bachelors degree (Agriculture, Management, Business or Engineering) OR 10 years of work experience can be substituted for degree
Experience Requirements
- 3- 5 years experience
- Understanding of manufacturing technologies, quality control processes, safety and environmental programs, and requirements
- Standard software applications.
- Strong communication, math, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Able to move freely throughout AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0 - 100 degrees Fahrenheit), humidy (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
