The Production Supervisor will oversee cheese production and directly manage the 15-20 team members on 2nd shift. We are seeking a production supervisor/lead with experience in food manufacturing and familiarity with industry regulations, however, the larger focus is finding a leader devoted to long-term team development. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all production and sanitation activities during assigned shift
• Ensure operational adherence to the production planning schedule
• Monitor and track departmental KPIs and take action to achieve production goals
• Execute corrective action to address production downtime
• Manage employee performance and development
• Lead and promote programs to support a proactive safety culture
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, and instructions
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, JD Edwards
• Familiarity with ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly preferred
