The Production Supervisor will oversee cheese production and directly manage the 15-20 team members on 2nd shift. We are seeking a production supervisor/lead with experience in food manufacturing and familiarity with industry regulations, however, the larger focus is finding a leader devoted to long-term team development. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production and sanitation activities during assigned shift
- Ensure operational adherence to the production planning schedule
- Monitor and track departmental KPIs and take action to achieve production goals
- Execute corrective action to address production downtime
- Manage employee performance and development
- Lead and promote programs to support a proactive safety culture
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety guidelines

Qualifications:
- Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, and instructions
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, JD Edwards
- Familiarity with ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly preferred
