Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Schedule production activities and maintain inventory to increase production and quality
- Supervise and provide leadership, coaching, guidance, training, and staff development
- Participate in interviews and selection of employees. Evaluate employee performance; counsel and discipline employees as necessary.
- Ensure departmental goals of safety, quality, productivity, utilization, cost, and delivery are met
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of trust and positive morale
Production Supervisor Requirements:
- High school diploma required. Technical degree and/or welding certifications preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Metal fabrication and welding techniques (hardwire, metal-core, flux-core & sub-arc) experience
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing OR Six Sigma methodologies a plus
Production Supervisor Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $30.00/hour to $34.00/hour - depending on experience
- Shift Premium for 2nd Shift
- Immediate eligibility for holiday pay
- PTO within the first 6 months of employment
