BASIC FUNCTION
Establish Production Schedules, release Work Order/Sales Orders, notify Purchasing of parts shortages to allow the assembly and shipment of R&M/Project orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing to expedite production.
- Coordinate schedules and other activities.
- Distributes work orders to pickers denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes.
- Reviews master Production Schedule and work orders, establish priorities for specific customer orders, and revised schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capacity of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
- Assist in day-to-day department operations.
- Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to various reasons.
- Examine documents for completeness and latest version.
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
