Position Summary: Expected to make decisions to operate the business daily of filling orders within specifications, while maintaining efficiencies and accuracies. Expected to assist in monitoring, tracking, evaluating, maneuvering, etc. orders to insure that every effort is made to maximize profitability and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates the sizing system for Second Processing.
- Tracks shipments and adjusts inventories for Prepared Foods orders.
- Evaluates and sets up orders based on availability, delivery time, etc.
- Tracks and evaluates overfill for Production Orders.
- Identifies and assigns product that needs to be reworked due to age issues.
- Monitors order fulfillment and inventory levels.
- Evaluates and makes any necessary changes to orders to help maximize efficiencies throughout Second Processing.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in the poultry/food industry with supervisory experiencepreferred.
- Must have good leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to interact with operational and processing management.
- Must demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
