Works directly with engineering, material planning, and production teams to develop production workflow plans. Acts as the liaison with MPW departments to ensure workflow accuracy, compliance with organizational standards, and best practices for new and redesigned products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Position will follow all safety rules and regulations and abide by safety guidelines.
- Position is responsible for creation of BOM’s, work orders and workflow routing.
- Monitor material delivery schedules to support production planning
- Interact with MPW production and engineering as a technical liaison.
- Work with operations and engineering to define labor rates.
- Communicate bottlenecks to management as needed
- Provide production pick lists for inventory issuance
- Manage production schedule system updates
- Take initiative to create/refine processes to improve the efficiency of the department.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Due to the nature of the business as 24/7 service company, long, non-traditional hours maybe required as a regular part of the job.
- Position must be able interact with corporate finance, IT, and master data teams to identify and address system support issues.
- Hands on support as needed.

Required Experience
- Associates Degree or appropriate experience in business, supply chain, or material planning.
- 3-5 Years of technical experience in dealing material or production planning.
- Strong customer service, organizational skills, and math skills
- Candidate should have proficiency with all MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards software is preferred.
