We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Delta, OH location as a Production Scheduler/Planner.
The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a manufacturing/distribution environment are highly preferred.

Position Summary
To ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable, calmer, effect manner. An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are preferred for the role.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Foster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.
· Coordinate production workflow for one of multiple products
· Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
· Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
· Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
· Schedule shift according to production needs.
· Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
· Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
· Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of scrap etc.).
· Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
· Keep paperwork organized
· Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
· Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division management team.
Job Requirements
Education
· High School Diploma, or equivalent
· Technical/Vocational Training a Plus
Experience & Certifications
· Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
· Proven experience as a production planner.
· Forklift/Overhead Crane Certified preferred.
· Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
· Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
· Good at math and statistics
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication abilities
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
· Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
· Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
