Ensuring Chart’s Success…
The Production Manager will manage the daily operations of the new Teddy 2 facility located in Theodore, Alabama. The candidate must be performance driven with a demonstrated history of hands-on leadership and continuous improvement mindset. This role will focus on delivering a world-class product through talent management and development and cultivating strong partnerships with key member from supply chain, quality, shipping/receiving and engineering.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff and supervisors.
- Communicates with other departments and shifts to coordinate raw materials, parts, assemblies and completed units, etc.
- Work with engineering on critical component reliability and related product specifications to achieve strategic goals.
- Work closely with production scheduler to reduce production delays.
- Promote safe work environment and champion safety practices and behaviors.
- Partner with local human resources to hire production employees, and administer progressive discipline, as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and processes on production floor.
Your Education Should Be…
High school diploma or GED.
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
- This position will require the ability to move around the production floor and investigate issues with the production equipment.
- Lift up to 15 pounds
- Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a medium volume manufacturing environment, ETO a plus.
- Must have previous supervisory experience.
- Lean Six Sigma, highly desirable.
- Proven results improving manufacturing performance.
- Proven experience training others in manufacturing concepts and activities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
