SalaryAbout the Position:
Custom Building Products is currently seeking a Production Lead Person to oversee 1st Shift at our Lithia Springs, GA location. This is a Monday through Thursday schedule: 10 hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus overtime. Schedule is subject to change.
This will be a working Lead Person position. In addition to day-to-day duties, this position will manage employees to consistently perform tasks in accordance with standardized safety and quality assurance protocol. Responsibilities include optimizing productivity through the safe and proper use of all systems, equipment, and the handling of materials. In addition to daily duties in tile installation manufacturing, a large part of this position is Leadership.
We offer comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and vacation after 90 days. Additionally, you can earn up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days.
Hourly pay is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure a safe workplace and reporting as needed.
- Lead to maintain a focused team in our warehouse production environment.
- Assist in managing labor and overtime expenses.
- Effective communicator between multiple teams.
- Computer literacy including proficiency with AS400, WM, Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Inventory management.
- Being a problem-solver and critical thinker.
- Experienced Forklift Operator preferred.
- Comfortable with change and the ability to respond rapidly to it.
