What You'll Do:
Velocity EV is the exclusive distributor for RIZON - a line of fully battery-electric commercial vehicles. Velocity EV is standing up a new organization within its group in order import, market, sell and service Class 4/5 electric vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Product Support Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Technicians including preparing and meeting the department's annual budget, reviewing department budget on a daily basis, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, maintaining excellent customer/dealer relations and visiting customers/dealers. The Product Support Manager is also responsible for conducting the human resource and personnel supervisory functions of the department such as selecting, training, scheduling, counseling and disciplining employees and managing the PQR system.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ year administrative experience, Service Center experience, truck rental & leasing or trucking industry
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Proficient Excel.
- Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task and maintain a strong customer service focus and attention to detail, with Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in HR
- Ability to work in a high-volume fast-paced environment with a customer service focus
- Bi-lingual a plus
Principal Responsibilities
- Prepares annual budget
- Reviews daily budget and department performance reports
- Approves department purchase orders (department expenditures)
- Schedules expenditures
- Studies trends to determine how to increase profitability of department
- Reviews warranty chargebacks to maintain 100% efficiency and recuperation
- Selects employees for hire and disciplines employees
- Provides training, scheduling, assigning, coaching, counseling to employees
- Communicates job expectations and monitors' progress
- Appraises and reviews job contributions
- Conducts annual compensation reviews
- Enforces policies and procedures
- Maintains excellent customer service standards
- Communicates customer service standards to department personnel
- Resolves customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customers
- Visits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations
- PQR management
- Manages the dealer relations and client experience.
Compensation
• $150,000-$175,000/year based on experience
