The Product Marketing Manager role is integral in bringing our product and brand growth strategies to life by developing merchandising and promotional materials and driving implementation into the market. This role will span across the entire NDS portfolio and customer set, including both NDS and Raindrip brands. It will focus on leading new product commercialization, creating programs with retail and wholesale partners, project management, and trade show leadership, while also assisting with brand digital projects including websites, mobile app, social and creative assets.
Responsibilities
- Key business partner for the Product Management team and Director of Marketing in executing our branding and awareness strategies. Work cross-functionally with e-comm and sales teams.
- Engage relevant partners (internal and external) to create product assets including sales collateral, digital needs (website, email, social, etc), packaging, in-store merchandising, and more.
- Bring marketing thought leadership to our go-to-market product and commercialization plans to help increase sales.
- Create a system to manage and organize all marketing assets, working with the digital, e-comm and sales teams to ensure only the most recent and approved files are being used across the organization.
- Manage, plan and execute all trade shows in partnership with an outside agency. Assist in creating the trade show strategy and measurement plans to ensure marketing budget is maximized.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent education
- 6-8 years of omni-channel marketing experience
- Demonstrated success in positioning and launching differentiated product solutions that meet and exceed business objectives
- Deep understanding of how products are sold and the channels they are sold into
- Ability to translate product features and benefits into compelling positioning and marketing communications
- Experience in understanding consumer/contractor needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally including copywriting skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong project management, organizational and presentation skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize, independently manage several projects simultaneously and operate under tight deadlines
- Ability to travel
