Fearless is looking for a Product Manager IIto add to our diverse team of 250+ employees (and counting!).

The Product Manager II is the central team hub supporting strategic and tactical product activities. They are responsible for establishing and communicating the product's long-term vision and strategy and how it supports and achieves the client's goals and initiatives. They are responsible for creating and implementing production strategies that drive adoption, resource efficiency, and value delivery. This role closely aligns with the Product Owner's and the client's strategic plans. They conduct thorough problem identification, product planning, client expectation management, competitive analysis, user story creation, and backlog management. The PdM II consistently displays leadership and contributes to Fearless's herd and product management practice. They will be responsible for working with the Product Owner to define and prioritize product features and manage the product backlog. They will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure that product requirements are clearly communicated and delivered on time.
Responsibilities and Contributions
Organizational and Leadership Role
- Guides the team, customer, and end users to build a product vision, roadmap, and strategy
- Aligns client stakeholders
- Translates roadmaps and visions into user stories and epics.
Functional Role
Define and prioritize the product backlog with Product Owner and Intake Manager based on customer needs, business goals, and stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and testing, to refine product requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate and reinforce product vision and priorities to development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and timelines.
- Break down features into user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritize them based on value and dependencies.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide feedback and ensure that development efforts are aligned with product goals.
- Facilitate ceremonies such as backlog grooming to create and maintain a healthy product backlog and user story readiness.
- Work with Product Owner to provide regular updates on project status and gather feedback to inform product decisions.
- Serve as the point of contact for functionality for delivery team, including testing teams, and work with team to triage issues/defects and manage resolution.
- Work with Scrum Master to track key performance metrics and analyze product performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Competencies
Must-Have Skills
- Demonstrated experience in product management, project management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, with experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and experience working with design teams.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
- Extensive knowledge of product ownership roles and a solid understanding of ownership gaps
- Ability to operate and manage work, strategically reason, build relationships, and influence others.
Icing-on-the-Cake Skills
- Experience consulting in product management
- Product management experience in local, state, or federal government contracting and/or consulting
- Experience coaching and/or training internal and external audiences in product management best practices

- Candidates located within a 2-hour radius of FMC Corporation's corporate office in Philadelphia, PA may be expected to commute to the office once a month.

Our approach to compensation is intended to ensure our total package serves all of your needs and includes base pay, medical and other benefits, performance rewards, 401k matching, plus a few perks (tech and wellness reimbursement programs)!
Our salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location and provide team members salary growth within a salary grade over time. Team members automatically progress within a salary range through annual increases (given to reward service at Fearless) or merit increases (given to reward and individual's demonstrated performance and growth within the position). Fearless team members are also eligible for discretionary bonuses based on company performance.
The salary ranges for this position based on location are listed below. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified as a part of our annual salary range review.
- AL, FL, GA, TN Residents: $90,015 (min) - $117,019 (mid) - $144,024 (max)
- NC Residents: $92,799 (min) - $120,639 (mid) - $148,478 (max)
- DE, MD, PA, TX, VA Residents: $97,439 (min) - $126,671 (mid) - $155,902 (max)
- DC Residents: $109,503 (min) - $142,354(mid) - $175,204 (max)
- CA & NY Residents: $113,215(min) - $147,179 (mid) - $181,143 (max)
Within the range, starting pay for team members is based on the evaluation of the alignment with the position description requirements including job-related skills and experience or training. This range reflects your earning potential over the course of your career at Fearless in this position.
