Job Summary
As the Senior Architect Manager on the Resort Application Development team, you will be responsible for leading a core group of architects that support the broader team in their development and maintenance of custom software for critical and high-impact projects. These teams are responsible for internal APIs that provide core functionality to a variety of employee and guest-facing clients. The software stack primarily consists of .NET C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Angular and WPF. You will be responsible for guiding a group of high-performing architects while ensuring business objectives are being met, working alongside other software development leaders and managers within the Resort Application Development team.

Job Responsibilities
- Formulate well-planned technical roadmaps to establish a long-term strategy that will drive the architectural strength and longevity of our systems.
- Maintain and continuously improve the SDLC to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
- Ensure compliance and security are at the foundation of the team’s development processes.
- Work cross-functionally with other technical leaders across the IT organization, ensuring alignment on enterprise technical objectives.
- Ensure solutions are built in a forward-looking manner aligned with the multi-year technical roadmaps.
- Establish trust amongst direct reports and partners across locations, functions, and business units by exemplifying integrity, authenticity, and respect.
- Develop an understanding of our business and collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and influence opportunities to drive business value through technology innovation.

Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field required.
- 5+ years of software architecture experience.
- Experience with implementing DevOps pipelines.
- Experience architecting and crafting technical solutions.
- Ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse, and occasionally unprecedented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills across a variety of audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Prior software development experience utilizing C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
- PCI and/or SOX compliance.
- Prior work in the ski resort or hospitality field.
- International or cloud software implementations.
- Point-of-sale / transaction processing experience.
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $130,000 - $154,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
