Job Summary

Our 10-12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions.FreeWheel is one of the largest and most advanced ad-tech providers in premium video. Our Audience, Identity, and Measurement (AIM) team is changing the ad-tech industry in how our clients transact and serve ads in a rapidly changing landscape. As an MBA PM intern, you will understand how FreeWheel fits into the ad-tech ecosystem, and work with our clients to implement innovative solutions to their challenges. You will operate within a high-performing team of product and ad-tech veterans and receive coaching to handle a portion of the product lifecycle which is compatible with the 10-12 weeks internship timeframe. Cross-functional collaboration is at the heart of what we do, you will work with the revenue, engineering, services, and data science teams to execute your designs and meaningfully impact our product line.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand the ad-tech landscape
  • Serve as the voice of the client and understand their needs and requirements
  • Prioritize pain points and produce clear designs and solutions to address them
  • Draft product roadmap, obtain buy-in from key stakeholders and continuously drive alignment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other PMs, engineering and design to execute features
  • Operate autonomously, ensure timelines are met, and raise risks proactively
  • Measure impact of released features and be accountable for client satisfaction and adoption
  • Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Competencies

  • Learning speed: demonstrated ability to ramp up on new content and ask thoughtful questions
  • Technical ability: ability to discuss implementation approaches and challenges with engineering, have a high-level understanding of technical architectures and platforms
  • Communication skills: ability to quickly synthesize information in either presentation or written form and present it to clients and senior management tailoring content to the audience
  • Analytical mindset: be comfortable with data analysis in Excel, challenge assumptions with stakeholders, and write SQL queries
  • Organization skills: handle multiple workstreams at once and be able to track and follow up on timelines
  • Cross-Functional skills: work with several different functional teams and stakeholders, bringing together a cohesive product strategy that can be executed by engineering and data science teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing an MBA program at a top institution (required)
  • Product manager at a large tech company or successful startup
  • Management consultant or investment banker with a tech focus
  • Prior ad-tech experience is a plus
  • Computer engineering or computer science background is a plus
  • Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program
  • Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future

Compensation

  • MBA: $53/hr

Salary:

Base Pay: $53.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
