What does a Summer Intern at CNB do?
As the only local, full-service, community-owned financial institution in the Rochester area, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust is investing in you. Our interns experience firsthand what it is like working in the world of financial services. As a Summer Intern you will work side by side with our team to provide individuals, businesses, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations access to all the financial services they will ever need. Interns will act as a member of the team for the summer, assisting the department help achieve the bank’s goal – of ensuring our community thrives and grows.
Throughout the summer, intern will have an opportunity to connect with each other, shadow within a branch, network with different departments, and enjoy social events. The summer will culminate in presentation to their managers and the Executive Team.
This position is a paid internship/co-op for Summer 2024. Program begins Tuesday, May 28th, 2024.
Product Management Intern
The Product Management intern will help the Product Management team move their strategic initiatives forward. This position will have a focus on supporting the product life cycle, from planning to implementation. This position will have a focus on competitive analysis, reporting and project work.
Perform competitive research and analysis for the deposit and lending product suite.
Assist in the development of timelines, product presentations and status reports to monitor projects.
Archive and organize product documentation such as disclosures, legal agreements and any other relevant reference materials.
Support product functionality/feature updates, including system testing and validation.
Participate in cross functional project teams and tasks as needed.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, recording and distributing meeting notes, reviewing invoices.
Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
What would our ideal candidate look like?
Currently pursing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field.
Possess strong communication skills and organizational skills.
Proficient communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Proficient writing and grammar skills to prepare reports to be distributed to senior management.
Ability to work independently
Have an interest in learning the Product Management life-cycle.
Familiarity with banking products, services and software systems.
Schedule: M-F 8:30a.m. – 5 p.m., with flexibly depending on needs. Hybrid Flexibility.

Compensation - $18 per hour
The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
